Parmar Hemlataba Ranjitsinh, a young woman from the small village of Malpura in Mehsana district, always dreamed of standing tall on her own feet and supporting her family. But like countless girls in rural India, her dreams often felt too heavy to carry amidst daily struggles and financial hardships.
Her turning point came when she found out about the six-month training program under DDU-GKY at Ganpat University, Kherva. For Hemlataba, this was not just training—it was a lifeline.
At Ganpat University, she entered the Automotive Accessory Fitter trade and discovered a new world. Alongside technical training, she learned computers, English communication, and essential life skills. Living with other trainees, she gained confidence, discipline, and the courage to believe in herself. The free hostel, meals, uniform, and books lifted the financial burden, allowing her to focus fully on her dream.
On 16th June 2024, her life changed forever. Hemlataba received her appointment letter from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. at Sitthalpur, Mandal. With her first month’s salary of ₹19,750, she felt not just joy, but deep pride. She could now support her family and prove to herself that determination conquers all barriers.
With tears of gratitude, Hemlataba shares:
“I always tell everyone—never give up on your dreams. Life’s struggles are not the end; they are the test. If you work hard and stay committed, anything is possible. Ganpat University and DDU-GKY gave me the wings to rise above my struggles and write a new chapter of dignity for myself and my family.”
