Ganpat University is proud to be a part of an Erasmus+ CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) Project titled “Fostering Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education to Stimulate Lifelong Sustainable Learning Opportunities for HEIs in India”.

Led at GUNI by Ar. Sandeep Singh Sisodia (Institute of Architecture), this international project brings together European and Indian partners to create inclusive learning frameworks and strengthen access to equitable, high-quality higher education.

With a total grant of €400,000, and €61,692 awarded directly to Ganpat University, the project is helping design models for lifelong learning, capacity building, and institutional inclusivity—directly aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education and India’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

This collaboration showcases Ganpat University’s growing global footprint, where research and innovation are guided not only by academic curiosity but by the promise of making education accessible and transformative for all.

In 2023–24, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), Government of Gujarat, awarded Ganpat University researchers a prestigious grant under its UG BT CBC Research Project.

The project, led by Dr. Hardik Shah and Dr. Priti Patel, focuses on biotechnology applications with potential to improve healthcare and agricultural sustainability in the state. With sanctioned funding of ₹5.52 lakhs, the project empowers young researchers and students to explore cutting-edge biosciences.

What makes this project special is its direct link to regional development—from improving crop resilience to advancing biotechnological innovations for everyday challenges. It represents how external government support and university expertise come together to deliver research that truly benefits communities.

As one student researcher put it: “Working on this project has given me the confidence that science from our labs can solve real problems for our villages and industries.”
